Girl Crush; Fearne Cotton

I have a confession, I'm a little bit besotted with Fearne Cotton's style. It started from a young age, ever since I watched her on 'Smile' with Reggie Yates and I died my hair pink simply because.. she had died her hair pink, much to my parents dismay. A chunky mustard yellow knit coupled with red velour shouldn't work but on her it does! I love how eclectic and sometimes downright crazy her outfits are while still remaining chic. This is something I strive for on a daily basis and have miserably failed on many occasions (cringe). Her effortless day looks are something I will master one day! Girl knows how to rock an umbrella.

Autumn Wish List

Sussi Shirt Dress by Monki.   Millie Shirt by Monki.   Dark Khaki Leigh Jeans by Topshop.   Cat Print Chiffon Shorts by H&M.   City Bag by Zara.   Plain Band Rings by ASOS.

Can you believe it's that time of year already? Cold mornings and darker evenings can only mean one thing, a new wardrobe... right? I LOVE Autumn, despite being a Leo I secretly wait all summer for the time to come where layering is acceptable and spending most nights snuggled up in your favourite baggy knit with a mug full of hot tea (or a glass full of red wine) is mandatory.

I've been on the hunt for statement items that will work with my relaxed everyday style, I can see the Sussi dress and Millie shirt easily becoming my go-to items on early winter mornings. I'll be working the military trend into my wardrobe with splashes of dark grey and khaki combined with tough accessories like these ASOS rings.
Oh and how could I forget this gorgeous Zara bag? The perfect day-to-night goes-with-every-outfit bag for £25.99, how could you say no to that?!

What key pieces will you be looking out for this Autumn?

Acceptable in the 90's

Leather Effect Jegging by Zara.   Brenda Knit Jumper by Monki.   Suede Shopper by Zara.   Neon Collar Necklace by Topshop.

The 90's have been creeping back up on us for a while and now they're back with a vengeance. There's no escaping this trend... you can run but you can't hide. All the high street favourites have adopted this trend beautifully, here are some of my wish list pieces that will hopefully be making their way into my wardrobe very soon. Grunge has been reincarnated for Autumn with a fresh, feminine aesthetic; think shameless camo, soft leather, girlish prints and flashes of bright neon. Much more forgiving than the ripped baggy jeans and oversized shirt combo circa 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.
